Volunteer

We need 10-15 volunteers each Saturday in addition to our core group of volunteers. It is a great opportunity for Sunday School classes (ages 10-90), youth groups and churches to go on a mission trip without leaving south Georgia. Our hospital and several local businesses have volunteered as a way of giving back to the community. It also provides volunteer opportunities for Royal Rangers, Boy Scouts, Key Club, civic clubs, sports teams, teachers and many other groups. Individuals are welcome to volunteer any Saturday without having to notify us in advance. We make sandwiches and prepare lunch bags from 7:30-9:00 a.m., and we deliver the meals from 9:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m. We prefer that volunteers help with both the preparation and delivery. You receive the reward for your labor of love when you see the smiling faces of the children during delivery. But, if your circumstances (health, time) dictate that you cannot do both, you are still most welcome to volunteer with us.
